Important Compatibility Notes
Requires a DP++ (dual-mode) Mini DisplayPort output on the source device. Most laptops and tablets with Mini DP support DP++.
For multi-monitor setups where the graphics card requires active signal conversion (e.g. 3 or more displays), an active adapter is required — this adapter may not support the additional display in those configurations.
Not compatible with USB-C ports, which look similar but use a different connector standard.
Output is DVI-D single link. Monitors requiring dual-link resolutions (2560x1600 / 2560x1440) are not supported.
Not bi-directional. Signal flows from Mini DP source to DVI display only.
